Pakistanis happier than Indians: World Happiness Report

Pakistanis happier than Indians: World Happiness Report
March 15, 2018
WASHINGTON (92 News) – Pakistan has left behind its neighbor India (again!) and other South Asian nations on the list of the world's happiest countries published by the United Nations. According to the World Happiness Report 2017, released by the UN on the International Day of Happiness, Pakistan ranked 75 on the index, coming in ahead of India (133), Nepal (101), Bangladesh (115), Bhutan (97), China (86) and Sri Lanka (116). Jumping five spots from 2017, Pakistan is even happier this year. With a rank of 80, it had fared much better than India (122) and Bangladesh (110) last year as well. India, in contrast, slipped 11 slots from last year.
