Pakistan’s coronavirus cases increase to 24,073, death toll at 564

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The number of coronavirus cases across the country soared by 1,523 during the last 24 hours, increasing the tally to 24,073. According to data available with the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Thursday, record 38 deaths have been reported during the last 24 hours and as a result, the death toll jumped to 564. Presently, there are 9,077 cases in Punjab, 8,640 in Sindh, 3,712 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 1,495 in Balochistan, 388 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 76 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. As many as 6,464 people have recovered so far. 12,196 tests were conducted during the last 24 hours, increasing the total number to 244,778.
