Pakistan’s coronavirus cases soar to 20,883, death toll at 462

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The number of confirmed coronavirus cases across the country jumped to 20,883 on Monday. According to the National Command and Operation Center, there are 7,640 cases in Punjab, 7,882 in Sindh, 3,288 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 1,218 in Balochistan, 364 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 415 in Islamabad Capital Territory and 71 in Azad Kashmir. As many as 5,590 patients have so far recovered while the death toll from the virus stands at 462 with 22 new deaths and 1,083 new cases reported during the last 24 hours. On the other hand, 212,511 tests have been conducted since the outbreak of the pandemic, with 9,522 conducted during the last 24 hours.
