Pakistan’s coronavirus cases surpass 89,000

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 4,896 new coronavirus cases have surfaced in Pakistan over the last twenty four hours taking the total tally to 89,249. These include 33,144 in Punjab, 33,536 in Sindh, 11,890 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 5,582 in Balochistan, 3,946 in Islamabad, 852 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 299 in Azad Kashmir. The death toll from the virus stands at 1,838 with sixty eight deaths reported over the last twenty-four hours. 22,812 corona tests were also carried out during this period.31,198 patients have so far recovered from the disease.
