LAHORE (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that the labourer is being attacked at the economic and constitutional level. Addressing a ceremony in Lahore on Wednesday, he said that all will have to work hard for the labourer. “Labourers will have to show courage across the country, including Pakistan,” he said. “We do not accept a deal between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).” Bilawal Bhutto said that a new labour policy will have to be introduced for labourers across the world. “Minimum salary of the labourers should be settled so that they could run their house,” he said. He was of the view that cruelty is being meted out with each segment of the society. “The state is committing the economic murder of labourers. The poor is not given his/her share when the government departments are earning revenue. To the contrary, the onus is shifted on to the poor when the departments are at loss,” he said. The PPP chairman said that the Benazir Income Support Program gave the right to labourers. “After coming to the power, we will make the labourers more shareholders,” he said. He said that each government talks about privatization of the institutions.
