LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has on Sunday announced the 17-member Pakistan Test squad for the upcoming Test series against England starting from next month. This was announced by Chief Selector Inzamam-ul-Haq during a news conference in Lahore on Sunday. Misbah-ul-Haq will lead the team. Other members of the team are Muhammad Hafeez, Shan Masood, Sami Aslam, Younus Khan, Asad Shafiq, Azhar Ali, Iftikhar Ahmad, Muhammad Amir, Wahab Riaz, Sohail Khan, Rahat Ali, Imran Khan, Zulfiqar Babar and Yasir Shah. The chief selector said that the team will play four Test matches against the English team. He expressed hope that the team would perform well and produce good results. Pakistan will start their England tour with the first Test scheduled on 14th of next month, which will be followed by three more Tests, five ODIs and a T20. Haq said that Mohammad Amir’s selection is conditional to his England visa, which is still in process. He said that all the players have been selected on the basis of their performance in first class cricket.
