Panama Case: JIT prepares questionnaire for PM and his children

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) formed to probe Panama Leaks has on Tuesday prepared a questionnaire for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his children.

A meeting of the JIT headed by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director General Wajid Zia was held at the Judicial Academy.

Sources said that the JIT reviewed the letter written by the Qatari Prince. The letter will be sent through the Foreign Office.

The investigating team has prepared the questionnaire for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his children, while the decision to summon the prime minister and his children will be taken later.

A three-member special bench of the Supreme Court for implementation of Panama Case had expressed has full confidence in the team and its work.

The apex court had asked the JIT to inform the court of any hurdles if created by any institution or if cooperation of any institution is required.

The Supreme Court had also directed the head of JIT Wajid Zia to complete the investigation process within 60 days.
