Case registered against SECP chairman on SC orders for tampering with record
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – On the orders of the Supreme Court, a case has been registered against Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Chairman Zafar Hijazi on the charge of tampering with the official record.
The case has been registered under sections 466 and 471 of the PPC.
Earlier during the hearing, Justice Ijazul Hassan remarked that Zafar Hijazi had harassed his subordinates.
The court also rejected Hussain Nawaz’s plea to form a commission on the picture leak. It authorized the government to public the name of the person leaking the picture.
The court adjourned the Panama case until Monday.
