Panama case verdict to usher in new era: Imran Khan

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has said that the verdict of Supreme Court on Panama Leaks case would usher in a new era in Pakistan.

Talking to media upon reaching Lahore on Friday, Khan said that the verdict will come next week. The entire nation is waiting for the Supreme Court verdict. Everyone knows the Qatari letter was brought to hide the money trail.

None of the powerful has been held accountable in our system. The case would not have gone to the Supreme Court if the institutions were working, he said.

The PTI chairman said that a whole mafia made is made to keep them in power. The National Bank head is the one who himself was involved in money laundering.

“We won’t take money from IMF if the looted money was not transferred abroad. We are indebted while their children are becoming billionaires. They are such intelligent children that they became billionaires without even working,” he said.

The same thing appeared in Hussain Haqqani, Memo Gate and Dawn Leaks scandal. They secretly criticize the army and apparently say that they are on the same page with government. This is like betraying the country, he added.
