Panama Leaks Case: PTI submits evidence in SC

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has on Monday submitted evidence regarding alleged corruption of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family in the Supreme Court. A five-member bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali will resume the hearing regarding petitions relating to the Panama leaks. The PTI has submitted 686 pages documental evidence in the court mentioning the details regarding the Sharif family’s bank accounts and loan waiver. During the previous hearing, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s children Maryam Nawaz, Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz had submitted their replies in the court, while the government lawyer Salman Butt requested 15 days to submit documents after which the court ordered to submit the documents until November 15. Earlier, the PTI had on Sunday prepared a documentary film over the alleged corruption of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family and decided to present the evidence in the court during the next hearing. PTI chairman Imran Khan presided over a meeting of the party’s strategy committee in Bani Gala. The meeting was attended by senior party leaders including party vice chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi. The meeting reviewed the documentary film prepared over the alleged corruption of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family. Imran Khan said that the PTI’s case has strengthen new evidence adding that the prime minister and his family will not have any way of escape.
