Panama leaks exposed corrupt group of politician: Sirajul Haq

LAHORE (92 News) – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq has on Sunday said that the more than 20 million children are unable to attend school due to poverty and the Pakistani people are deprived of basic medical facilities. Addressing a sit-in organized by the JI in Lahore outside Punjab Assembly on Sunday, he said that the rulers earn money from Pakistan but hide their income in Panama. He said that the JI’s corruption free movement will not be seen on media but said that his movement would be in every hut. He said that from the day 1, the JI is asking for a commission led by Chief Justice of Pakistan. He said that around half of the population is deprived of clean water, adding that hundreds of youngsters are forced burn their degrees and to sell their organs. Sirajul Haq said that why do the Pakistan Steel Mill is in loss but the Jeddah Steel mill is running in profit. He said that the opposition parties should be on the same page over sensitive issues, adding we will send TORs to Chief Justice made according to the will of the people. He said that they do not have expectations from National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The JI chief said that there is need to form a commission on moral corruption, adding that the Panama leaks exposed a corrupt group of politicians in the country. He said that the Jammat-e-Islami will hold countrywide protests against corruption from May 1.
