He said that the petitioners didn’t accuse the premier of lying but only said that Sharif didn’t give accurate description of the allegations. The PM’s counsel further denied that his client had anything to do with the London flats. Justice Ijaz remarked that the records which the Prime Minister mentioned had not been produced. "We cannot decide what is true or false without looking at the records," he said. Justice Ijaz Afzal remarked that the prime minister’s speech was written before, adding that was hiding some facts an innocent mistake or he deliberately did this. He remarked that it could be ignored if the PM made an innocent mistake but said it would have serious consequences if he deliberately did this. The court further adjourned the hearing till January 13 (Friday).
