Panamanian minister clarifies statement of meeting with Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Panamanian minister Ivan Zarak has on Sunday while clarifying his statement said that he met with Secretary Finance Waqar Masood instead of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. In his statement on the social media website, Ivan Zarak said that clarified that he sat beside Waqar Masood and not Ishaq Dar in a meeting over Panama Papers leaks. Earlier, Panama's Deputy Minister of Economy Ivan Zarak had claimed during a CNN interview of meeting with Pakistan's Finance Minister in Washington over Panama leaks. On the other hand, the finance ministry on Saturday termed the claim of Panamanian Deputy Minister for Economy about a meeting with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Washington baseless.
