Parents of student blinded over ‘staring’ seek justice

LAHORE (92 News) – Parents of a Class 9 student who was blinded by some influential accused over staring have appealed to the chief minister to provide them justice.

Aish Muhammad, a resident of Rangeelpur Village, was tortured and blinded by the accused about one and a month ago.

The Sundar police arrested the main accused Hanif and later released him. A local court has expressed indignation over a delay in completing the investigation, ordering the police to complete the investigation at the earliest.

The court also ordered the accused to join the investigation.

On the order of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Child Protection Bureau Chairperson Saba Sadiq visited the house of the victim and assured his family of justice.
