Parliament's joint session to be held today
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The joint session of the parliament will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday.
National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar will preside over the session. The government will present different bills, including electoral reforms, for legislation.
To a question how much hopeful he is about the session, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the sportsman always thinks he would win when he enters the playground.
On the other hand, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif said that they would try their best to the defeat the government over the electronic voting machine.
Meanwhile, the PTI Jahangir Tareen Group has announced to support the government in the joint session. Raja Riaz said that they are standing with their party, "We will support the prime minister under all circumstances," he added.
