Parliamentary committee undecided over extension in military courts

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A parliamentary meeting chaired by National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq remained undecided about the extension in military courts. The ministers, including federal law minister Zahid Hamid, gave a briefing in the meeting on which the opposition raised further questions. The opposition also expressed concern over the interior minister for not briefing the meeting. Opposition leader Khurshid Shah said that the issue of extension of military courts is the issue of the nation. The meeting was attended by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, JUIF chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Mehmood Achakzai, Shireen Mazari, Sheikh Rashid, Aftab Sherpao and Tariq Cheema.
