Pervaiz Rashid calls on nation to support government against extremists

ISLAMABAD (92 News) –  Federal Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid has called on the nation to support the government and the armed forces in the fight against militancy. Talking to media following the Karachi bus attack that left 44 people including women and children dead on Wednesday, the minister said that the attack is a coward attempt made by terrorists to spread fear among the public. "Terrorism has no affiliation and link with any religion," he said. “One of the most peaceful communities of the country has been targeted in the attack;  a community which has rendered great services to the nation." Parvez Rashid asked the religious scholars to speak against such perpetrators who target innocent and peaceful people, while also urging the politicians, intellectuals and civil society members to demonstrate unity against them.
