Passenger boarding bridge collapses at new Islamabad airport

ISLAMABAD (29 News) – An operator was severely injured as a passenger boarding bridge collapsed at Islamabad International Airport on Tuesday here. As per details, the boarding bridge was collapsed when the foreign airline parked. The flight operation was affected due to the collapse of bridge. The incident also revealed the carelessness of the civil aviation authority. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was already investigating the contract of the construction of bridge. The reservations of the NAB officials may be proved correct. The NAB is conducting inquiry of the illegal contract given. However, the collapsing cause of the passenger bridge has not yet been determined.
