Passengers robbed in bus hold-up in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – A bus carrying dozens of passengers was held up by armed robbers, who deprived many of the passengers of their money and belongings at gunpoint while holding the driver hostage in Karachi’s Qazi Ahmad area on Friday. As the police have failed to control the crime, bandits have looted millions of rupees from people travelling to their native towns and cities for Eidul Fitr. The bus was travelling from Karachi to Sadiqabad when the dacoits intercepted the bus at Dolatpur bypass and deprived the passengers of their money and valuables. The robbers managed to escape the scene after robbery. The robbers took money and goods destined for the celebrations of Eidul Fitr.
