PAT chief Prof Dr Tahirul Qadri to return Pakistan on June 29

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chairman Prof Dr Tahirul Qadri will return Pakistan by flight EK-624 from Dubai on June 29. The announcement was made after a joint meeting of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek and Minjhajul Quran. Dr Tahirul Qadri has decided to lead protests against long power shutdown across country. Dr Hassan Mohyuddin presided over the meeting. Dr Raheeq Abbasi and other leaders were also present. On June 23 last year, Prof Dr Tahirul Qadri returned Pakistan and chanted the slogan of protecting the state, not politics. He termed the rulers a coterie of corrupt, thieves and plunderers. He announced to launch a movement till the ouster of the government. After the Model Town tragedy, he announced a long march along with the PTI towards Islamabad. Later, he gave the call of a countrywide protest and held meeting in several cities. However, he abruptly ended the sit-in and protest.
