LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) ended their sit-in outside the Punjab Secretariat after eight hours, announcing to file a contempt of court plea on Saturday. The PAT workers and relatives of the martyrs had staged a sit-in against the government for not giving them a copy of the Justice Baqar Najafi Commission report. The protesters were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans against the government. Addressing the protesters, PAT leader Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the Punjab law minister is an embodiment of lawlessness. He said that the Model Town tragedy martyrs want justice and they will approach each forum to get justice. The PAT will make Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, the chief secretary and Home secretary a party in the contempt of court plea. On the other hand, the Advocate General office will file an intra court appeal to get the single bench verdict nullified.
