PCB disciplinary committee considers issuing a notice to Waqar Younis

LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) disciplinary committee is considering issuing a notice to head coach Waqar Younis. The PCB is waiting for the report of the fact-finding committee. Sources said that Waqar Younis would be sacked instead of issuing a notice if the committee recommended sacking him. The decision on the fate of Waqar Younis is likely within 24 hours. Earlier, head coach Waqar Younis called on Federal Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination Riaz Pirzada. He spoke out against the Pakistan Cricket Board. Riaz Pirzada said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was busy presently and he would look into cricket affairs in spare time. “Waqar Younis is a hero and we will present his report to the prime minister,” he said.
