PDM all set to show political muscle in Hyderabad today

HYDERABAD (92 News) - Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), the 11-party opposition alliance, is all set up for putting up its power show in Hyderabad today (Tuesday).

It is pertinent to mention here that the PDM has to held stage in Hyderabad after announcing the date of its long march in Islamabad on March 26.

The arrangements for the rally have been completed which is being hosted by the Pakistan People Party (PPP).

Central leaders of the opposition alliances will address the Hyderabad rally including JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and others.

A large number of political activists of PPP has gathered at the venue and busy in finalising the stage, whereas, bike rallies were taken out in some areas of the city.

It was also reported that a 40 feet wide, 120 feet long and 13 feet high stage has been set up to accommodate the PDM leaders. A reception camp has also been set up for the participants of the public meeting.

The host political party installed thousands of chairs at the rally’s venue on Hyderabad’s Hatri By-pass, whereas, flags and banners to welcome the opposition’s central leadership were installed on major streets and roads.

PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz has cancelled her visit to Hyderabad following the accident of her daughter, Mehrunnisa, who is under treatment at a hospital in Lahore.
