PDM announces long march on March 23

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has announced a long march on March 23.

Talking to the media after a meeting of the PDM on Monday, PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that they had discussed the matters of resignations from the assemblies.

"But it has to be seen when to use this card. The Mehngai March participants will assemble in Islamabad and the entire nation will reach Islamabad. The participants of the long march will offer the Friday prayers in Islamabad," he declared.

Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that the PDM parties will also hold consultation at the provincial level. "The present government has come into being due to rigging," he added.

According to sources, the PML-N and other parties have proposed a one-day show in Islamabad. However, Maulana Fazalur Rehman was adamant to his stance to tender resignations immediately. Shehbaz Sharif stressed for making all decisions through consensus.
