PDM announces rallies as PTI decides to take aggressive stroke on front foot

RAWALPINDI (92 News) – After the announcement of protests by Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is all set to hold rally in Rawalpindi on Saturday.

According to details garnered, the preparations for the rally have been completed to exercise political power in Liaquat Bagh as the strategy has been devised to deal with the opposition’s anti-government campaign.

Newly-elected members of South Punjab region will also take oath in the rally.

Earlier, PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has not left his workers alone, he first took all the hits, and now it is our time, adding that others put their party workers first and hide in containers.

Addressing a convention on Thursday of PML-N's parliamentarians and ticket holders, the PML-N vice president mentioned that Nawaz Sharif faced one heart attack in Adiala prison and second in custody of National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Maryam Nawaz further said that thePML-N quid left for abroad after deteriorating his health. "Nawaz Sharif gave her daughter to place in the first row of the workers. No one has not courage to make accountable Prime Minister Imran Khan," she added.

"Pakistan's problems would be solved through the party slogan "vote ko izzat do" [give respect to vote]. 'Vote ko izzat do' has always been Nawaz Sharif's narrative and that he was fighting for the nation's rights. The parliamentarians present here are witness to the fact that the sanctity of the vote that has been violated," Maryam Nawaz said.

"The rigging of the [2018 general elections] had begun three months prior [...] the vote was not respected, and the requirement for bringing people into power was only that they obey orders," she said.
