PDM decides to first launch 'Mehangai' march, then long march against inflation

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has decided to first launch a 'Mehangai' march and then long march against inflation.

Important decisions were taken in the online virtual meeting chaired by PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.  The protest movement will start from Karachi on November 13. The people were invited to participate fully.

According to sources, the leaders agreed that the PDM would hold a long march against inflation in Quetta on November 17. A long march will be held in Peshawar on November 20, while the 'Mehangai' march will be held in Lahore on November 29 or 30.

The next PDM meeting will be held on November 11 in Islamabad.

On the other hand, PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif contacted JI ameer Sirajul Haq and Achakzai and agreed to adopt a joint strategy.
