PDM disintegrated, attempt was made to make JUI a family party: Hafiz Hussain Ahmed

PESHAWAR (92 News) – JUI leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmed said that the PDM had disintegrated and an attempt was made to make the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) a family party.

Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that all parties were following the hereditary politics.

"We will get the constitution of Mufti Mahmood's party restored. We did not participate in the presidential election on the request of Nawaz Sharif. We too had reservations with regard to the Azadi March," he disclosed.

He said that he had neither created a group in the party nor left it. "Seminaries and the JUI should not be used for the corrupt person like Nawaz Sharif," he added.
