PDM has united to get cases quashed against Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari: Jalil Sharaqpuri

LAHORE (92 News) – Jalil Ahmed Sharqpuri, an estranged PML-N MPA, has said that the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has united just to get cases quashed against Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari.

Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that the PDM meeting is based on anarchy and the people should never attend it. "Nawaz Sharif walks behind Maulana Fazalur Rehman outside the parliament, but he wants to see Maulana Fazalur Rehman behind him in the parliament," he maintained.

He said that he would have attended the Lahore meeting had it been in national interest. "After the Quaid-e-Azam, Nawaz Sharif strengthened the Muslim League in a true sense, but Maryam Nawaz is weakening it," he added.

Sharqpuri said that the narrative of Ch Nisar was justified and he too was against the politics of disruption. "Though Imran Khan has committed some mistakes, his policies are right," he concluded.
