ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N senior leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday said that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) is still standing on its narrative.

Speaking to the journalists, the former prime minister said expensive petrol and electricity have made the lives of people difficult but the rulers are unconcerned. "Tax of Rs15 was imposed on petroleum products during the PML-N tenure which has now increased to Rs40," he added.

“The prices of petroleum products and food items are continuously increasing. What has changed so drastically in two years that the electricity bills have doubled? System cannot run in the country which has no justice," the PML-N leader maintained.

He also said that the petrol prices should be less than Rs70 per litre as per the price of international market. “The (NAB) chairman is adamant to lodge unfair cases against the opposition. Hearings of all cases have entered third year," he said.
