PDM meeting to be held at Jati Umra today

LAHORE (92 News) - A special meeting of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) leaders will be held at Sharifs’ residence Jati Umra today (on Friday).

Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will attend today’s session through video conference. The session will be attended by PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz, Yousaf Raza Gillani, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Akhtar Mengal, Owais Noorani and others.

The PDM leadership will deliberate upon the Senate elections and resignations of opposition lawmakers from assemblies in the session.

JUI-F chief and PDM head Maulana Fazlur Rehman will chair the forthcoming session of PDM in Lahore. Many important issues including resignations, long marches, Senate elections and by-elections will be discussed during the meeting.

The session is summoned to finalise the next strategy of the opposition alliance to take forward the anti-government movement.
