PDM parties refuse inclusion of PPP, ANP despite Shehbaz Sharif efforts: sources

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) parties have refused to include the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and the Awami National Party (ANP) in the alliance despite efforts of PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif.

Sources said that PDM chairman Maulana Fazalur Rehman and other leaders have link the return to an apology.

They said that Shehbaz Sharif had not invited both parties to rejoin the PDM after the refusal of the alliance leaders.

On the other hand, Shehbaz Sharif, in a tweet, said: "At the dinner reception last night, leaders from the opposition parties candidly discussed a host of domestic and foreign challenges facing the country. We agreed that there was need for collective solutions to national issues. We will evolve a joint strategy for the budget session."
