PDM stages protest against inflation across country

ISLAMABAD/KARACHI/LAHORE (92 News) – The Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) staged protest demonstrations against inflation across the country on Friday.

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) staged a demonstration at Jain Mandir Chowk. The protesters marched on roads and chanted slogans against the government.

Addressing the protesters, PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique said that the heavy stone had started skidding from the height of the mountain. "The price-hike has broken the backbone of each citizens." He said that the country should not be handed over to the IMF and the agents should thrown out instead.

PML-N leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that Imran Khan had told a lie and no project was started. "Imran Khan's destiny is jail."

Rallies have been taken out against inflation in Sukkur, Muzaffargarh, Vehari, Shangla and Ziarat.
