PDM to finalise about resignation, long march in today's meeting

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The leaders of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), the 11-party opposition alliance, will finalise strategy regarding resignations, long march or no confidence motion during a meeting scheduled to be held in Islamabad today Thursday.

According to the reports, the PDM leaders get ready today to make important decisions about its future strategy and are likely to announce holding of long march against the government.

The heads of the 11-party opposition alliance will meet under the chairmanship of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman during which consultations would be held to formulate strategy for the long march and upcoming senate election.

Tabling of no-confidence motion against the government suggested by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will also come under discussion during the meeting.

It is pertinent to mention here that PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and former premier Nawaz Sharif have reportedly spoken over the phone.
