PDMA issues flood alert as India releases 170,000 cusecs water into River Ravi

LAHORE (92 News) - India in advance informed Pakistan about the release of 170,000 cusecs of water into the River Ravi on Monday.

The Indus Water Commission authorities said that the water will enter Pakistan from India.

They said that India had opened the spillway of Ujh Barrage.

Meanwhile, a flood alert has been issued by the Punjab Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) to other departments to be ready for any emergency.
