KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Sunday said peace can't be restored in Karachi until militant wings of political parties are not eliminated. Imran Khan was addressing a public gathering on Shahrah-e-Pakistan in campaign for NA-246 by-polls. “My citizens of Karachi, voters of NA-246. One National Assembly constituency wouldn't mean much but I'm here because NayaPakistan can’t be realised until Naya Karachi,” Imran said. He criticised MQM, PML-N and PPP for their performance in the metropolitan. “Politics of gun ruined Karachi. This politics on ethnicity and on the basis of Muhajirs took the community backwards.” The PTI chief said it was the first time in history that an investigation was being made on electoral frauds. “It were the endeavours of the people of Pakistan that Judicial Commission was established, it's verdict will ensure polls this year,” he added.
