People lost confidence in currency, dollar being shifted abroad: Zardari
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Former president Asif Zardari said that the people have lost confidence in currency while dollar is being shifted abroad. Talking to the media on Thursday, the PPP had also talked to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), but on the conditions of Pakistan. He said that the PPP will show its power by de-seating the Senate chairman. “We definitely want to topple the government, but do not destroy democracy,” he said. The former president claimed that the opposition’s APC had been successful and would soon announce good news. “Now the speaker is also powerless in the house,” he said. Asif Zardari said that the Rahbar Committee will take the opposition forward. “The de-seating of the Senate chairman will tell the people how much harmony we are in,” he said. He said that the rulers do not know what is happening with the poor. “The prime minister should himself have gone to receive the Afghan president,” he said.
