People screaming too early as it's only the beginning of accountability: Sheikh Rasheed
July 20, 2019
LAHORE (92 News) - Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed Saturday said some elements have started screaming too early as it's only the beginning of across the board accountability.    "More and more the elements scream the quicker they will inch closer to their cases of accountability," the minister said at a news conference. Rasheed said he had asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to recover the looted money from all culprits. “JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman first demanded PM Imran Khan’s resignation and has now come to the Senate chairman. Some people keep relations on both sides of the wicket." Maulna is pursuing propaganda about Madrissahs (seminaries) as no one can dare to raise finger over religious places, the minister added. He said the sitting government and Pakistan Army has thrown India out of Afghanistan's politics. Rasheed told media that huge foreign companies are ready to invest in railways' workshops and that people will be employed on contract basis to improve the department. Five new trains would be operated soon and employees’ salaries would be increased by 10 percent after six months, he said, adding he had taken notice of delay in train operations. "Problems are being faced after hike in petroleum and dollar prices." To a question, the minister said the deficit of Pakistan Railways has been reduced by Rs5 billion.
