People will realize ideological proximity of PTI, JI if they form alliance: Altaf Hussain

KARACHI (92 News) – MQM chief Altaf Hussain has said that people will understand ideological proximity of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) if both parties forge an alliance. In a statement on Wednesday, he said: “We should participate in the election cordially. We should keep ourselves calm and take the election like an election. It should not be made like a war between two countries.” He welcomed Imran Khan to Jinnah Ground, saying that the MQM workers will welcome him there. “We are Pakistanis. It is neither our victory nor yours. It will be the victory of Pakistan and all of us. We will congratulate each other after the by-poll on April 23,” he said.
