People will tear PM's clothes if inflation situation persists: Senator Mushtaq Khan

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan has said that the people will tear the clothes of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif if the inflation situation persists.

Expressing his views on the floor of the Senate on Friday, he said that the people are extremely angered by the uncontrolled inflation. "How did the government give advertisement to newspapers if it has no money to take poison?" he questioned.

He demanded that the use of official vehicles should be banned for six months.

Mushtaq Khan said that why the rulers assumed the power if they could not control inflation. "The basic power tariff has been increased from Rs 16 to 24," he added.
