GHANCHE, Gilgit (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that a person having no knowledge of economy and foreign policy has been imposed as the prime minister. Addressing a gathering on Saturday, he said that economy had been destroyed in the country. “Poverty and unemployment have continuously been increasing,” he said. The PPP chairman said that Imran Khan is not a leader, but a player. “He (Imran Khan) is taking revenge in the name of accountability.” Bilawal Bhutto said that PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz was arrested on the day when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked Occupied Kashmir. “A democratic government is formed through the votes of the people and it knows the problems of the masses. After my visit, the selected PM will send his selected ministers to this area,” he said. “Only the PPP took a lot of steps for the welfare of the masses in Gilgit-Baltistan.” The PPP chairman claimed that his party always gave rights to the people. “I ask the Butcher of Gujarat to lift the curfew if he is democratic in a true sense,” he said, terming Modi a dacoit. He said that the late PM Benazir Bhutto was the first leader who visited Siachin.
Revenge being taken from opposition in name of accountability: Bilawal
Addressing a public meeting in Skardu, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto said that the government was exacting revenge from the opposition in the name of accountability. He said that the entire opposition has been jailed without any proof. “Only the opposition is being subjected to accountability,” he added. He asked the government to mend their ways otherwise be ready to face public reaction. “The government has not fulfilled any promise made with the people. Prime Minister Imran Khan is snatching the rights of the people,” he alleged. Bilawal Bhutto said that the opposition’s women are the target of the government. “Maryam Nawaz is arrested before her 70-year-old father, while Faryal Talpur is shifted to jail from hospital on Eid day,” he added. He said that the people are paying the price for the storm of incompetence. The PPP chairman said that the Quaid-e-Azam had declared Kashmir as the jugular vein of Pakistan. “I will fight the war for Kashmir even though it is fought for 1,000 years,” he said. He said that Kashmiris are looking towards Pakistan. “Modi has made the entire Kashmir a jail. He is the killer of the Muslims. I ask Modi to lift the curfew from Kashmir if he wants to see the real situation,” he declared. “India cannot suppress the Kashmiris’ passion for freedom.” He also chanted the slogans of “Killer, Killer Modi Killer”. The PPP chairman said that the government had put the economy in pawn with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). “The poor is worried and is unable to make both ends meet. It is easy to make promises, but difficult to fulfill them,” he said.
