Pervaiz Elahi expresses concern over increase in kidnappings

LAHORE (92 News) – Former Punjab Chief Minister (CM) and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leader Pervaiz Elahi has on Sunday said that six hundred children have been kidnapped from Punjab and among them 200 were from Lahore. Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Sunday, he declared the Lahore High Court’s verdict regarding Orange Line Metro Train Project (OMT) and said that Punjab government is ready to destroy heritage site to construct OMT. The former chief minister said that the project was started without any planning and heritage sites have reached the brink of destruction at the end of half work. Elahi expressed concern over the rise in the number of kidnapping in the province and said that the government didn’t wake up but the Supreme Court took notice of alarming rise in kidnappings.
