MULTAN (92 News) – Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said that former president Pervez Musharraf is the biggest accused of the contempt of court. Talking to the media on Saturday, he said that the Supreme Court should not sentence the workers if it is unable to sentence Musharraf. “Musharraf should be summoned for dragging judges and threatening their children. We will accept the judiciary independent when it will put Musharraf in the jail like Nehal Hashmi.” The minister said that the world had expressed reservations about the disqualification of former Nawaz Sharif. “It will be considered pre-poll rigging if the PML-N workers were targeted. Court should not be controversial,” he said. Ahsan Iqbal said that economy would have been improved had Nawaz not disqualified. He hoped the Sindh government will catch Rao Anwaar. “The country is making progress through the CPEC project which is being completed at a fast pace,” he added. He said that the Karachi Motorway will be completed in 2019.
