March 18, 2016
DUBAI (92 News) – Former President General (r) Pervez Musharraf has on Friday reached Dubai on a private airline flight. He was greeted by the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) workers at the airport. The former President left the country early Friday after the Supreme Court lifted a three-year ban on him travelling abroad. Sources said that he was given cabin No 1 while his friend Tariq Mahmood was given cabin No 2. Musharraf was banned from leaving Pakistan in March 2013 after he returned to the country on an ill-fated mission to contest elections. The doctor of the former president, who is facing multiple charges including treason and murder over the assassination of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto, have said he needs urgent spinal treatment not available in Pakistan.
