Peshawar blast leaves three including minors injured

PESHAWAR (92 News) – As many as three people including two children were injured when a roadside bomb exploded in Achini area today (Wednesday). As per Police sources, the remote-controlled bomb was placed on Ring road and exploded as convoy of security forces passed through. The blast remained comparatively harmless as no loss of life was reported. The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) said that the blast was carried out by Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in which six to eight kilograms explosive material alongwith ball bearing and artillery shells have been used. The two children got minor injuries and were discharged after providing medical aid on the spot.
