Peshawar blast terrorist came in police uniform: KP IGP
PESHAWAR (92 News) - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IGP Moazzam Jah Ansari said that the Peshawar blast terrorist came to the headquarters in police uniform and the officials allowed him to go considering him their colleague.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, he said that they had reached close to the terrorist network. "We will take revenge of our each martyr. "We admit that it was a security lapse. But rumours and conspiracy theories are increasing our pain," he added.
IGP Moazzam Jah Ansari said that someone is terming it an IED blast and other is saying it was drone attack. "Each man is becoming a scientist. I request all people not to do politics over the bodies of our children. Please let us do work. We will disclose information only on the basis of evidence," he maintained.
He said that at least 23 people had been arrested. "We have arrested people from the Police Lines to get to the bottom of how the explosive material reached here and to see if any police officials were also involved in the attack," he added.
