Peshawar Corps Commander Lt Gen Hassan Azhar Hayat visits South Waziristan

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Corps Commander Peshawar Lieutenant General Hassan Azhar Hayat visited South Waziristan and met tribal elders.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Corps Commander Peshawar appreciated the sacrifices of the local tribesmen. He said that unprecedented successes against terrorists were possible only because people fought shoulder to shoulder with the security forces.

“Pakistan Army will provide all possible assistance in the ongoing efforts for socio-economic development in the region,” he added.

The tribal elders thanked the Pakistan Army for restoring peace and assured the security forces of their unwavering support.
