Peshawar High Court suspends FIA summons notice to Asad Qaisar

PESHAWAR (92 News) - Peshawar High Court suspended the FIA summons notice to former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaisar.

A hearing was held in Peshawar High Court against Asad Qaisar's summons notice. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) was stopped from investigating Asad Qaisar until the next hearing.

Asad Qaisar said that the inquiry is the work of the Election Commission and not the FIA. 

Earlier, National Assembly former speaker Asad Qaiser said that Tehreek-e-Insaf would hold a big meeting in Lahore on August 13, for which preparations are underway. He has also demanded to inform the nation about the talks with the banned TTP.
