Peshawar Zalmi notch up three-run victory against Karachi Kings

SHARJAH (92 News) – Peshawar Zalmi scored a three-run victory against Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League tie at Sharjah on Thursday.

Peshawar Zalmi had set the 183-run target.  In reply, Karachi Kings could score 179 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

Mohammad Hafeez smashed 59 runs aided by seven fours and three sixes. Tamim Iqbal (37), Kamran Akmal (30) and DJ Malan (12) were other main scorers.

RS Bopara took two wickets, while Muhammad Amir and Sohail Tanvir got one wicket each.

Muhammad Hafeez was declared Man of the Match.
