Petition filed against Facebook CEO in LHC

LAHORE (92 News) – A petition against Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been filed in Lahore high Court (LHC) here on Saturday. As per details, the petition stated that fake account of Facebook can influence on general elections 2018. In the petition, the federal government, the Pakistan Telecom Authority (PTA) and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has been made a party. A few months ago, Facebook Inc Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg said that fake accounts can affect upcoming elections in Pakistan, India, Brazil and other countries, adding that Facebook will weed out bogus accounts seeking to interfere in elections and spread misinformation.
