Petition filed in SC to include Sharif family’s name in ECL

LAHORE (92 News) – A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court Lahore Registry requesting it to order the inclusion of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his children and son-in-law’s names in the Exit Control List (ECL). The petition was filed by a local organization. The petitioner argued that the Supreme Court had ordered file reference against Nawaz Sharif and his family. The petitioner further said that the former prime minister and his family member can flee abroad, adding that the court should order the inclusion of their names to the ECL. The petitioner also requested the court to order the arrest of Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz.
